ILYAIMY, sort for "I Love You And I Miss You", finished this album back in 2006. Over a year in the studio, ducking in when they were in town for a session or two after being on tour, we all had a good time and a lot of fun producing this album. Here's a slice off "Illinois is Overflowing". Click on pic to visit ILYAIMYs website...

"I've returned time and time again to Pure Sound Studio. I trust them implicitly, and I know that
they respect my sound, my music, and my art. That's important.
I've played in a number of other studios, high-end pristine places, grungy badroom spaces, I've
recorded in garages and basements and barns. By far, my best experience has been with
Pure Sound. There's simply a level of comfort that this studio exudes.
It's friendly, it's relaxed, it's Lovely.
Incense infused into the screens of the microphones,  couches that swallow the unwary, thick carpeting and gentle lighting...
I feel that with the onset of the digital age of recording, almost every space now has the capacity
to be a high-end recording facility. With the right gear and the right mics, 40 billion multi-track recording is available to all. There's more to it than that, of course, but essentially, it boils down to the fact that studios can now be equal in quality to some high-priced facilities.
The thing that really separates studios now is atmosphere - a combination of the engineer and the
environment, and in that aspect, Pure Sound just stands high above any other place I've been".
